Deadly Creatures

Definitely not one for arachnophobes, this. You play as either a scorpion (brawler) or tarantula (stealthy) in this third-person adventure. The vast environments allow the abilities of each “character” to be put to good use e.g. scaling walls and crawling upside down across roofs. Combat is handled using a combination of button presses and then motion gestures for the quick-time event finishing moves –  it’s passable but could really have done with some sort of lock-on system. The visuals are pretty impressive and, along with the eerie music, helps to create a creepy atmosphere.  A decent game but could have been better.
