Battlefield: Bad Company Conquest Opinions August 10, 2008

Bad CompanyConquest mode was released on Thursday as a free download. It was the main mode in previous Battlefield games, which I have never played, so this was a new experience. It is basically capture-the flag with five flags scattered around the map. The more flags your team has control of the faster the opposing team’s tickets get reduced. There are four available maps – Oasis, Ascension, End of the Line and Harvest Day – and they are basically tweaked versions of their Gold Rush counterparts. So far I’m enjoying this a lot more than the Gold Rush mode, its a welcome change and the games are a lot shorter.

I’ll be happy if I never play Gold Rush again.

Fuck those other 5 maps!
