Left 4 DeadHorrid txt spk aside, this game is shaping up to be pretty good. Four-player online co-op and zombies simply cannot fail. It is due out November, here’s a new trailer:

360My RROD’ed 360 is packed ready for repair-it will be getting sold when it returns. I now have a shiny new 360 Elite. It is slightly quieter, but not much. Now all I need is the HDD transfer cable and a black play & charge kit.

p.s. sorry for the shitty camera phone photos, switching on my digital camera is too much bother.

RRODDamn. It lasted for around a year and a half. No worries thought since I’m going to buy an Elite and trade that once it has been repaired.

Bad CompanyHaving never played a Battlefield game before I was pretty eager to try this out. First things first, the single player seems pretty decent and doesn’t feel tacked-on. However, online is definitely its strong point. I was becoming pretty bored with COD 4 and Halo 3 so Bad Company was a welcome change. It did take a while to get used to the controls, especially the vehicle ones. Each class really makes you change the way you play – my favourites being the recon (sniper) and support. It’s a shame that they opted for the limited 4-men-to-a-squad system which can be frustrating if you are used to big team multiplayer games. That is the only gripe I have with the game so far and if they sort it for the full game it will be among the best FPS games for online multiplayer.

MetallicaAccording to Gamespot, Activision will be releasing Guitar Hero: Metallica in early 2009. This – as well as the Aerosmith edition – could easily be done as DLC rather than a full blown game which will no doubt be full price. Is this going to become a yearly thing? good news if you are a Metallica fan, though.
